MOLLY HAWKINS
The Harry Styles Stylemaker
After moving to New York to pursue a career as a DJ, Molly Hawkins quickly turned the (ahem) turntables and discovered her passion for artist management. Hawkins has worked alongside acts like Young Turks, The xx, Kelsey Lu and, most famously, Harry Styles. As Harry’s creative director, Molly is the brains behind Harry’s public persona, the architect of the aesthetic of all three of his solo albums, and the visionary behind his two tours, Live on Tour and Love on Tour. Not satisfied with just filling arenas, Molly also spearheaded the launch of his nail-polish line, Pleasing, with stylist Harry Lambeth. Being Styles’ stylemaker (sorry, we had to) keeps Molly pretty busy — but not so busy that she doesn’t have time to collaborate on one of Miami’s coolest music festivals, or to encourage emerging groups like Sir Chloe. Lead singer Dana Foote said of Hawkins in an interview with Unpublished, “She’s just one of those people who’s like a translator of ‘this is what I like’ into a tangible really cool idea.”
Projects
In 2021, after a yearslong Covid delay, Molly’s vision for Harry Styles — Love on Tour finally kicked-off. Over two years, Styles played 169 concerts as part of the global trek, which Molly crafted to embody romanticism, community and kindness. That same year, Molly joined Styles in another endeavor: biodegradable nail-polish brand Pleasing. With stylist Harry Lambeth, she co-led the creative process for everything from bottle design to pop-up holiday stores in London, New York and Los Angeles to mark the brand’s first 12 months in business and debut its new micro-collection, Super Magic Family Time. Outside of her work with Styles, Molly is a founding partner of Miami’s counterculture music, art, and technology festival III Points, which celebrates its 10th year in October.
