GUILLAUME BORGOMANO
The Master of Multimedia Imagination
Guillaume Borgomano, the multimedia director and innovation creative lead at Montreal-based Moment Factory, is a tech wizard who mesmerizes the masses with his immersive experiences, themed entertainment, and live concerts. His talent lies in blending an overarching creative vision with his technical skills, which range from real-time content creation to extended reality, or XR. Since September 2019, Guillaume has been using what he calls his “brain-juice” at multimedia entertainment studio Moment Factory to create immersive projects that combine video, lighting, architecture, sound and special effects and keep experiential fans thirsty for more. Before landing in his current role, Guillaume spent years developing his keen eye for video production and motion design as a freelance video director and visual media artist.
Projects
Visitors to Miroir Miroir got to choose their own adventure by selecting one of five doors and entering into another world. In the space beyond, scenography, lighting, music, words and interactivity helped guide these intrepid explorers as they wandered and delved deep into the universe of their imagination, creativity, dreams and consciousness. In 2022, experiential went celestial with Moment Factory’s Astra Lumina Los Angeles, an immersive multimedia event that used projection, music and light to show what would happen if stars reached Earth and dazzled humans. Earlier last year, Guillaume and Moment Factory transformed Sin City with GLOW, an experience at Resorts World Las Vegas that included 10 show capsules featuring narratives such as a shimmering jungle and bioluminescent ocean—all projected across 100,000 square feet of LED displays.
