DAVE GRAHAM
The Accidental Music Festival Super-Producer
Dave Graham is a start-up founder and entrepreneur turned accidental music festival super-producer. The CEO and co-founder of Latitude 38 Entertainment (along with his two best friends from childhood, Justin Dragoo and Jason Scoggins) jumped in to save the BottleRock brand following a successful, but financially problematic first year in 2013. With just four months to plan, and absolutely zero experience organizing any events, let alone a large-scale music festival, Dave and the Latitude 38 team banded together to build the foundation for what has become one of the top-tier festival experiences in the country. Today, (now that he’s got nine years under his belt) Dave’s vision is to blend music, wine, food and community to elevate Napa Valley’s reputation as a world-class destination. We’ll drink to that.
Projects
The BottleRock festival celebrated its tenth anniversary in May 2023 with a stacked lineup mixing rock legends with today’s top pop stars. Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Red Hot Chili Peppers and Duran Duran, along with The Smashing Pumpkins, led the “classic” side of the bill (aka Gen X), while Lizzo, Lil Nas X and Post Malone headlined the younger acts (we see you, Zoomers). Of course the festival, held in the Napa Valley, famous for its wineries, featured a wide array of food, wine and culinary demonstrations. Some of BottleRock’s most memorable moments have come from the Williams-Sonoma Culinary Stage — like Snoop, Warren G and Chef Michael Voltaggio setting a Guinness Book of World Records for the largest gin and juice, or Ayesha Curry Playing Beer Pong With G-Eazy.
